This week, the idea of evolution and natural selection grabbed me by the collar and demanded me to think and write about it. It made me realize that creating a masterpiece is rarely deciding to do it and then executing it well. Most of the time, it is playing with the pieces, observing what works, and discarding what doesn't. This idea of tinkering is present in careers, Darwinian evolution, and art.
